!!! Virus/Spyware Warning !!!

A recent spyware program that is infecting a lot of computers displays a pop-up window showing many programs that are "infected".  Most of the time it claims to be Security Center or Windows Security.  when you click on 'clean', it will bring up a window to purchase the program that will clean your system.  This is a really big indicator that it may not be a real infection.  It is just another way to get money out of you.  You may or may not receive anything in exchange for sending them your hard earned cash.  This product may or may not ever arrive.  I have spoken to a couple of people that did receive the software and some that did not receive anything at all except a charge to their bank account.

Sometimes this infection can be really easily removed via remote maintenance without even needing to go to your place.  Please contact me if you have the symptoms described above.

Vaporware is when you buy something and it never comes.  When a company advertises and sells a product that does not exist, that product is called vaporware.  It is also when a company announces a new version of a product but never releases that version.
